I watched this on the news, and to be honest I thought it was a farce. Some of the passengers they interviewed were laughing and smiling. None seemed all that surprised or shocked. Anyone seen any of the supposed injured passengers yet? Nah me either.

Personally I see this as a poor attempt at keeping the public interested in this 'fight against terror' bs.

Now the UK has joined in stating this Nigerian was on the security watch list. If he was on this list why only recently did they find out his college was a fake? How did he afford the £1k+ a week rent for the flat on Mayfair Street? How did a student even let this flat to start with? This is one of the most prestige areas in the UK. No landlord in their right mind would let to a student.

Too many loose ends for this to be even remotely conceivable so far.

Conclusion - Something else is going on here. Poor cover story.

The fact that he was on the plane with a device that could have been explosive is a complete failure of the security systems that are supposed to be in place. The device may have failed, but the terrorists won.
